Junior Designer

Join ICE Rugs as a Junior Designer in Zaltbommel and help create bespoke rugs for some of the world’s most exceptional interiors. Work alongside leading designers and architects while developing your creativity in an international and inspiring environment.

YOUR ROL

As a Junior Designer, you will contribute to the design and development of bespoke rugs for international clients, including leading interior designers and design studios. You will translate client briefs into creative design concepts, exploring patterns, colours and materials while ensuring each design aligns with both the creative vision and technical production requirements.

Working closely with our Design Manager, international design teams and freelance designers, you will help guide projects from initial concept through to sampling and client approval. You will manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintain clear communication throughout the process and ensure deadlines are met.

YOUR PROFILE

You have a strong passion for interior design, textiles, materials, patterns and colour, combined with a creative mindset and a well-organised approach to your work. In addition, you:

  • Are highly proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Have completed a relevant education in design, art, styling or a related field.
  • Can balance creativity with structure and project management.
  • Are comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities.
  • Enjoy translating client requirements into strong design concepts.
  • Communicate fluently in both Dutch and English, written and spoken.
  • Thrive in an international working environment.
  • Are flexible and understand the dynamics of working across different time zones.
