When Rockwell Group approached us for the lobby of W Hollywood, the challenge was clear: create a design statement without relying on complexity. The answer came from the space itself. A rich green carpet radiating outward from the central sofa, which served as our exact starting point.
The organic, flowing shapes were a deliberate departure from the conventional rectangular rug. Everything else followed from that one decision. Tufted in a single tone, all dimension was created through intricate carving alone. A technique that rewards the eye the longer you look. No pattern needed. The craft does the work.
